Our next Book Club will be August 13 at 7:00 PM at the home of Sheila Trossman. Sheila has chosen a novel, The Day THE FALLS Stood Still by Cathy Marie Buchanan. This book is set in 1915 in Niagara Falls. It is the story of a young girl, who led a privileged life until her father lost his job with th
e power company. The book tells the story of her life, and the changes that occurred during that time period, all against the backdrop of Niagara Falls and the dawn of hydroelectric power.
There are many copies of the book in the library, in different formats.
