Introducing – your Cornell Faculty Speaker!

Please join us at our annual meeting this May 7th – for a Cornell faculty presentation and dinner at the Saturn Club. Come for a cocktail in the Lounge and Loggia Room followed by a delicious buffet of bruschetta, Tuscan pizzas, steak and chicken carvings stations, and dessert. Dinner begins at 6:30 pm.

The Club would like to welcome our faculty speaker, Professor Brian R. Davis, Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture, CALS.

Professor Davis conducts research in landscape prototyping, the industrialized rivers in the Americas, and the effect of public space design on water quality in urban rivers. He will be giving a talk on his research and a discussion on Buffalo’s waterways.

Tickets are $30 and include dinner and dessert. Cash bar. Registration is now open.

 

Marotto’s Soirée

You are cordially invited to the Marotto’s Soirée, a winter social at one of our favorite Cornellian owned businesses. Our host, Mark Marotto ’82, has arranged  a menu of smoked fish, bruschetta, clams casino, pork bell pibil, and sharp cheeses.

Marotto’s Restaurant is in Kenmore, NY, meet us there on Wednesday, February 7th 5:30 – 8 pm.

Cost: $22 includes appetizers

Please join us at the Saturn Club on Wednesday, May 10 from 6 – 9 pm for an evening of food, drink (cash bar), networking, election of new board members, our annual meeting with alumni community and a speaker panel. Jack McGowan ‘80, Secretary of the Board and Immediate Past President, will moderate a discussion panel with Dean Paul Tesluk ’91 from the School of Management at UB and Dean Dan Borgia ’81 from the Richard J. Wehle School of Business at Canisius College.  The Deans will discuss the focus of the business education programs at UB and Canisius, how these programs interact with and impact the Western New York community and how their Cornell educations have positioned them to lead business education.
