Cornelliana Battle of the Wits — Jan 13th 2021

Heating up your cold January nights…

How many steps are there to the top of McGraw Tower? Which Cornell fraternity was the first fraternity in the country for Black students? How did Ezra Cornell make his fortune? Which Simpsons character attended Cornell? And which famous alumna wrote ‘The Good Earth’?

If you know the answers to these questions… or want to learn more about our alma mater, we’re calling all trivia aficionados and Cornelliana lovers! Come and test your knowledge of Cornell facts and lore in an interactive trivia event that will entertain and educate Cornellians of all ages.

Details on the January 13th event as well as registration can be found here.

Our very own Club President-emeritus Matthew Nagowski ‘05 will be serving as quiz-master for the evening. Prizes, graciously donated by your Cornell Club of Greater Buffalo, will be awarded to winners. Our trivia battle will require a Zoom video connection and a web-connected smartphone in order to participate!

We encourage all interested contestants to dress in their best Cornelliana red and white for the occasion. And no, Alex, answers will not need to be provided in the form of a question!
