Call for Nominations

Ever wonder who is behind the Cornell Club of Greater Buffalo? We are a group of Cornellians from all colleges, degrees, and class years — ’73 to ’16 and many in between! We would love to have YOU join our team to bring new events and ideas for ways to bring Cornellians together.

From event planning, website management, budgeting, social media, and more, there’s probably a way for you to get involved with Cornell, the Buffalo community, and other alumni.

Elections are held at our annual meeting and Cornell faculty speaker event, which is May 7th 2018. Save the date, more details coming soon.

Trivia Part II

Name the Cornellian co-star of this 1980 drama about hypnosis induced time travel set on Michigan’s Mackinac Island.

Join the Cornell Club of Buffalo for a night of Bar Trivia!

We will be playing at the World of Beer at the Walden Galleria Mall on Wednesday, March 14 at 8pm. Join team safety school to show off your skills!

There is no fee to attend this event. Participants are responsible for their own food and drink expenses.

Marotto’s Soirée

You are cordially invited to the Marotto’s Soirée, a winter social at one of our favorite Cornellian owned businesses. Our host, Mark Marotto ’82, has arranged  a menu of smoked fish, bruschetta, clams casino, pork bell pibil, and sharp cheeses.

Marotto’s Restaurant is in Kenmore, NY, meet us there on Wednesday, February 7th 5:30 – 8 pm.

Cost: $22 includes appetizers

Joint Ivy Holiday Party

The Harvard Club of Buffalo is hosting a Joint Ivy Holiday Event during the week between Christmas and New Year’s, and you’re invited! This casual event at Lafayette Brewery Company in the Lafayette Hotel will be a chance to meet new alumni and current students in the area.

So come on downtown next Wednesday, Dec 27, 5:30-7:30pm. They’ll be a cash bar but please RSVP in advance to H. Drew at hdrew@buffalo.edu

Make a weekend out of it — hike at Taughannock Falls State Park, grab breakfast at Carriage House Cafe, or wander around the Commons, which might look very different from your last trip to Ithaca.
