2016 CAAAN Kickoff Dinner

Wednesday, November 30, 2016 – 6:30 PM

Chef’s Restaurant
291 Seneca Street
Buffalo NY 14204

Per tradition, Buffalo-area CAAAN (Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network) volunteers and all interested alumni of Cornell are invited to our annual CAAAN Kick-Off Dinner, to be held at Chef’s Restaurant in downtown Buffalo on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. While enjoying your choice of Chef’s delicious Italian specialties, you will have the chance to learn more about the CAAAN program (the program wherein alumni meet and talk with prospective students about the Cornell experience) while meeting other alumni and learning more about the Cornell admissions process.

Many alumni attest that their role as a CAAAN volunteer is one of the most rewarding activities one can do as a Cornellian!

For those who are new to the CAAAN program, please be sure to sign-up today at their website.

The cost for the dinner is $18 per person, and will include a selection of a main dish with salad, dessert, tea, and coffee. A cash bar will be available. Attendees have the choice of pre-ordering chicken cacciatore, lasagna with meat ball, or Chef’s famous spaghetti parmesan. Special dietary options are available upon request.

Email accounts, digital purchases, bank and brokerage accounts, social networking profiles and photo sharing are seamlessly integrated into our everyday lives.  But what happens to these things when we are no longer around? Deciding how to manage your digital legacy just may be the trickiest estate-planning task.  Digital assets, which can have both sentimental and monetary value, often go unaddressed in estate planning and yet, having your digital assets documented and organized is a vital part of estate planning.

Join us for an evening with Judge Howe as she discusses Digital Assets at Death and the importance of considering these assets as you plan for the future.

Registration for this event will conclude on Monday, September 12th.  Register at http://cornelluniversity.imodules.com/s/1717/alumni/event.aspx?sid=1717&gid=2&pgid=3757&content_id=4904
