Cornell New York State Hometown Alumni Award recipients are Cornell graduates who have contributed in a meaningful way in their home community.

Cornell in Buffalo – Cornell Programs that Impact Western New York

Cornell has a direct presence in Western New York that is unknown to many alumni and the greater community. Join us to learn about the many programs, services and activities of Cornell’s ILR Extension Office, The Cornell Cooperative Extensions of Erie & Niagara Counties and the Cornell Club of Greater Buffalo and the benefits that they provide to individuals, organizations, students and alumni. You will also see the Cornell in Buffalo office in the Market Arcade in Downtown Buffalo.

International Spirit of Zinck’s Night

Join your fellow Cornellians to eat, drink and be merry on Zinck’s Night, Thursday, October 18. International Spirit of Zinck’s Night is Cornell’s world-wide annual social event in honor of Ithaca saloonkeeper Theodore Zinck, as memorialized in Give my Regards to Davy.

Our Buffalo celebration will be from 6-8 pm at Lakeward Spirits, Buffalo’s largest micro-distillery. Tour the distillation process and enjoy camaraderie and refreshments with alumni. Cash bar; light hors d’oeuvres will be provided.

Don’t be a celery! Meet us at the Bisons Game on August 24

What could be better than an evening of baseball, racing mascots, hot dogs and fireworks in downtown Buffalo?!
The Cornell Club of Greater Buffalo will be attending the Buffalo Bisons game on Friday August 24th to watch the Herd take on the Pawtucket Red Sox. Game time is 7:05pm and this is the last Friday Night Bash of the season.
Cost is $11 but ticket quantities are limited so register early!
